It seems President Obama has again proposed to push through laws that will circumvent Congress.

Our government is designed with checks and balances so no one branch can become too powerful.

Congress writes the law, not the President.

We do not have a king/emperor, Presidents do not write law.

Remember the story of the Emperor with no clothes? The emperor listened to his advisors who told him he had beautiful clothes on, in reality the emperor had no clothes on. It took a child who saw the unclothed emperor in a parade to state the truth.
